休葛蘭是少數能代表濃濃英國味道的男演員，他說話的字和字中間黏著吸引人的害羞和敏感，無與倫比，在【新娘百分百】已全程示範過一次了，這回【K歌情人】還加上親身演唱和扭擺獻舞，可謂空前絕後的不再經典，茱兒芭莉摩則是少數既保有幼小女孩(她童年拍過【E.T.】)的俏皮嘴角、又能傳達出成熟女性必然噴發的深情眉目，嫵媚動人又沒負擔，配合休葛蘭已然老成卻遲遲沒有持重的調調兒，那種調調兒是一種比外表更實質的「凍齡」，他們兩人可說是愛的火花絕對四射的天作之合，整部電影就是讓人看了開心又無比感動，討喜又餘韻良久。
電影中和休葛蘭合唱的海莉班奈特就是後來演出【絕地七騎士】號召丹佐華盛頓等英雄抗暴的勇敢寡婦。
